A potential dataset submitter is required to submit a "Dataset Submission Request" to GDEX for review as the first step before the formal decision can be made regarding the acceptance of the dataset for ingest in GDEX.

The information collected from the "Dataset Submission Request" constitutes a request for GDEX to archive and provide access to the data for users on NSF NCAR's community compute systems, and remote users through web transfer protocols. Request acceptance is not guaranteed.
