Download GDEX data files via HTTPS, hosted on the Open Science Data Federation.
Transfer GDEX data files to your institution or laptop via the Globus transfer service (GridFTP). See http://www.globus.org for more information.
Request that GDEX data files be converted from their native format to a new format (e.g. from GRIB to netCDF).
Make selections (e.g. temporal range, spatial area, parameters, etc.) to be extracted from the files in this dataset. The option to receive the output in a different data format may also be available.
