Title: ICARUS Chamber Experiment: Kelvin's lab_20220114_2-Methylbut-3-ene-1,2-diol/Hydrogen peroxide/Ammonium sulfate_Hydroxyl radical_Ammonium sulfate_RH50 Description: Goals: Product and SOA formation study on 2-methylbut-3-ene-1,2-diol (1,2-DHI) + OH, using wet (deliquesced) ammonium sulfate seeds at 50% RH. RO2 + HO2 pathway targeted. Summary: 1,2-DHI and H2O2 were injected. AS solution was atomized, and lights were then turned on to initiate photooxidation. The CIMS died briefly (~10 minutes) at 12:20. Note that the NOx and O3 monitors sampled the room air, instead of the chamber, for 1 hour starting at 10:00am Organization: Kelvin's lab Lab Affiliation: UC Davis Chamber: Kelvin's big bag of air Experiment Category: Gas phase chemical reaction, Aerosol formation Oxidant: Hydroxyl radical Reactants: 2-Methylbut-3-ene-1,2-diol, Hydrogen peroxide, Ammonium sulfate Reaction Type: Photooxidation Relative Humidity: 50 Temperature: 22 Seed Name: Ammonium sulfate Pressure: 755 Torr Metadata URL: https://gdex.ucar.edu/dataset/id/c02caf90-e73e-43f5-a4e4-b46f578fb7dc.html
