This dataset contains CESM-LENS data that has been lossily compressed (and reconstructed) with sz 1.4.13 and zfp 0.5.3 with multiple absolute error tolerances.

Filenames:
----------

Each file name contains the compression method and absolute error tolerance, followed by a "_", followed by the original CESM-LENS data file name.

For example,

sz1e-11_b.e11.B20TRC5CNBDRD.f09_g16.030.cam.h1.PRECT.19200101-20051231.nc

is the result of compressing (and reconstructing) the CESM-LENS timeseries file

b.e11.B20TRC5CNBDRD.f09_g16.030.cam.h1.PRECT.19200101-20051231.nc

With sz 1.4.12 and an absolute error tolerance = 1e-11.

*note: the reconstructed files have been compressed losslessly with zlib level 1 and shuffle to save storage space.
